Accomplishments
- Dinner Club: I met the Householders for dinner on 7/29. I have talked to David for over a year and though we only live a few blocks from each other, we had never had the opportunity to meet. Add more here.
- Set fund raising goals: As the principle fundraiser for fort bend county, I do not want to set a "goal" that is either unreasonable or likewise too easily accomplished. My previous goal was $2000. In light of early successes in this area, I feel that this might be too low. My current goal is now set at $5000 between now and July of 2007.
- Increase county membership: This goal in one that simply should be reported on and will no longer be listed as a "goal." County membership has been steadily increasing since 2004. Our current active membership (in contact) is 61, up from 52 the last quarter. Our current leads list (snail mail) is 225, up from 153 the last quarter. The dramatic increase of the leads list is due to a big data dump from the state. Most of the leads are very old, but they remain workable. As stated in my last report, recruiting versus attrition appears to be 5/2 per month.
- Living History: I will motion to create a committee during the new business section of today's meeting. This is a subject best left to those who are familiar with the requirements.
- Candidate Assistance: As many of you know, I am currently working on the Ron Paul campaign. I am also assisting Bob Smither with his campaign efforts. This will be discussed in great detail at the kick-off meeting later in the evening. I urge you all to attend.
- Treasurer's Report: Danny has performed this duty for some time. It is a regular part of monthly business.
- Committee Reports: Three committees have been formed since last quarter. The reports are part of normal business meetings.

- Begin to develop strategy for local elections in '07
